Reflagging of NIS vessels to FAS

 

We are currently reflagging our NIS vessels from the Norway International Ship Register (NIS) to the Faroe International Register (FAS). We are doing this for our employees' sake, especial for our polish crew, who have to pay land based tax in Poland from the next year on NIS vessels. Our intensions are to keep as much as possible as it was before. We expect that everything can be completed in the first quarter of 2011 for the five vessels.We have already finished the reflaggning for Sunnanhav and Kalkvik.
